Enrolling In Enrichment Courses With Our Enrichment Partners Is A Simple Process.

SVA has agreements with Enrichment Partners to offer enrichment instruction in elective and core subject areas. Each student, with agreement from the assigned Teacher, has the opportunity to take advantage of courses offered by SVA EPs.
Process for Enrolling with an Enrichment Partner:

Process for Enrolling with an Enrichment Partner:

  • Parent completes an “Enrichment Partner Parent Acknowledgement Form” on ParentSquare.
  • Parents review the list of Enrichment Partners and contact the Enrichment Partner that they are interested in using for their student.
  • After the Enrichment Partner is chosen, the parent needs to complete an “Enrichment Partner Request Form” which includes a signature from the chosen Enrichment Partner, the parent, and the SVA teacher.
  • Once the “Enrichment Partner Request Form” has been completed, it must be turned in to the SVA teacher.
  • The teacher will send it to the Enrichment Partners Coordinator and parents will receive an email notification from the Enrichment Partners Coordinator that the student may begin the Enrichment course.
  • Students must not begin using an Enrichment Partner until they have verification from the Enrichment Partners Coordinator that the course has been approved.
  • Fall Semester Enrichment Partner requests must be turned in by the last day of Learning Period 2, and Spring Semester by the last day of Learning Period 7.

Important Information About the Use of Enrichment Partners

  • Participation in Enrichment Partner courses is completely voluntary and is not required to complete the Shasta View Academy academic program.
  • SVA requires all Enrichment Partners to complete a livescan fingerprint clearance prior to becoming an Enrichment Partner.  However, the PARENT/GUARDIAN understands that all individuals who may have contact with his/her child while attending Enrichment Partner classes and events, or going to/coming from Enrichment Partner activities/classes/events may not have undergone a fingerprint clearance for a criminal background check.  The parent/guardian accepts full responsibility for the safety of his/her child.  
  • Any classes/lessons student misses will not be paid for by SVA.  It is the parent's responsibility to find out the Enrichment Partner's policy on absences.  If a student misses two classes in a row, the contract with the EP or EPs may be terminated.
  • SVA will only pay for Enrichment Partner services from September through May (the first day of instruction in September until the last day of school in May).
  • SVA will pay for up to $120/month of Enrichment Partner activities per month.  Any amount over $120 per month owed to a EP or EPs is the responsibility of the family.  
  • Siblings may not “share” Enrichment Partner monies.  For example, if one sibling is only using $80 of EP funds, we cannot allocate the remaining $40 to a sibling’s Enrichment Partner account.
  • Unused Enrichment Partner activities will not be credited to the family for use in a future month or months, and will not be reimbursed to the family.
  • If the child has a gym membership through SVA (Sun Oaks, YMCA, etc.) they must attend a minimum of 4 times per month.  If the child does not attend the minimum amount of time, the membership will be canceled.
  • If a family cancels an Enrichment Partner course before the semester is over, the student must wait until the new semester starts to begin a new Enrichment Partner course. 
  • Subscription Kits: Only subscription kits from the companies listed on the "2023-2024 Enrichment Partners/Subscription Kits Approved List" can be ordered. Subscription kit company names are noted with an asterisk *. We are not adding new companies to the list at this time. All guidelines regarding Enrichment Partners apply to subscriptions. 
  • Enrichment Partner enrollment and Enrichment Partner changes can be made until the last day of Learning Period 2 in the Fall semester, and the last day of Learning Period 7 in the Spring semester.
